On the first day, the official opening of the workshops took place, during which the organizer presented the application possibilities in projects funded by EIT Raw Materials. The second day, as well as the beginning of the third, included panels where presentations were given on:

• The impact of EIT Raw Materials on education, dissemination, and implementation of projects related to secondary raw materials.

• The perspective and application of biogenic carbon sources in iron and steel metallurgy.

• Mineral carbonation of coal ashes – a CCU solution enabling CO2 binding and improving its environmental acceptability.

• The use of LCA analysis in technology design.

• A review of the patent database for efficient information retrieval.

The final element of the second day of the workshops was a presentation by the Mechanical Department of the Polytechnic University of Milan, during which measurement equipment was presented and the topics of ongoing projects were introduced.

On the third day of the workshops, a summary exam was held on the knowledge gained from the presented topics, in which students from the countries participating in the project consortium took part. The entire event concluded with a project meeting. During the meeting, the tasks completed so far, necessary to achieve the milestones in the project with the acronym DUSTREC, were presented. During the participants' discussion, the problems occurring in the project were discussed, and further actions were determined to prepare the final report, concluding the entire project.
